DESCRIPTION:

A plaque was made to mark the planting of a tree by Marion Wallace-Dunlop on 11 June 1910. Marion Wallace-Dunlop is wearing her medal to honour her hunger strike, Mary Blathwayt is wearing her Bodicea brooch and Florence Haig is wearing her brooch to signify her imprisonment. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
