DESCRIPTION:

The slide is numbered with what is thought to read 75940. Similar to Image ref 17239, although wearing a headscarf, as though about to go motoring. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
