DESCRIPTION:

Photograph from original glass negative. Photographed in preparation for 'The 18th Century Architecture of Bath' published in 1904 by Mowbray Green. Note statue of small boy on balustrade. See Image Ref. 10048. The baths were whitewashed to cover over the staining from the iron in the spa water.
