DESCRIPTION:

Often mistaken for aquatints, part of a set of 8 views, published as 'Eight Views of the most Elegant Scenes of and in Bath.' They originally sold for a guinea uncoloured. These have had a watercolour wash. Published 30th November 1773. See IOB 141, 209, 229, 505, 506, 521, 609.
