DESCRIPTION:

If this is viewed from Park Place then something is very wrong as Park Place is in Lansdown, well away from the river. It would appear that Green Park Buildings are in the foreground left and right, with Seymour Street and Charles Street beyond, but they do not appear as built. William Cole, 10, Newgate Street. All Cole's views are unreliable in their topographical detail. Advertised in The New Times, 19th March 1827. They sold for 6s each coloured.
