DESCRIPTION:

Carrying the Somerset & Dorset line over the Great Western Railway and also the old tramway from Welton Hill colliery (right hand arch) leading to the Somersetshire Coal Canal at Radstock. The Pines Express is shown crossing, double headed for the ascent from Evercreech. From a private collection of photographs from approximately the 1950s relating to the canals and railways in Bath and the surrounding area. Attributed to Ken Marchant of Radstock.
