DESCRIPTION:

As part of Bath's Flood Prevention Scheme, architect Neville Conder of Casson & Conder constructed the highly successful replacement. This major construction also required the demolition of Bathwick Mill. A very undeveloped Recreation Ground can be seen in the background.
