Batheaston High Street, c.1905

A lovely postcard view of a traffic free High Street. The tram rail and overhead cable runs down the street, whilst a sign advertises Thomas, 9, Ladymead, Walcot St for cycles etc. A postman stands in the middle of the road with his bicycle and the now demolished Lamb and Flag pub is shown on the left.
