This may be a camping trip. People appear to be cleaning their teeth. This may be a group visiting the photographer while he was stationed with the Post Office at a military camp below Ballard Down, Dorset. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
