View to Brandon Hill, Bristol, c.1900s
© This image is not to be copied or published without permission
This is the view to Cabot's Tower and Brandon Hill from Coronation Road. The sun catches the end of the terrace in Queen's Parade and St George's School is visible below the Tower. In the foreground are various parts of Bristol's industrial history, including the Leadworks, now replaced by the Millennium Square / Anchor Square developments. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
