Description

Viewed from North Parade. After the demise of Town Mill on the western bank, but long before weir and river bank reconstruction work in the late C20th. Note the wide path and tree lined Recreation Ground on the right. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
