Transport of sculptures, c.1900s
© This image is not to be copied or published without permission
These appear to be wooden sculptures being transported along what looks like a London thoroughfare. These would appear to be linked to the procession in photographs 29191 - 3. Wooden sculptures of this size are often used as patterns for bronze statues. Does anyone recognise these figures or where such a statue stands? Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
