Unidentified military camp, c.1900s

This appears to be a religious service at a large military camp (may be the camp on Ballard Down, Dorset, which is the subject of several photographs in this set). There is a drumhead at the centre of proceedings, where the white-robed clergy is holding forth. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
