Bristol Cross, Stourhead, Wiltshire c.1900s
© This image is not to be copied or published without permission
Originally a feature of the streets of Bristol, as the name implies. This cross was gifted to the Hoare family at Stourhead in the 18th century and now stands in the grounds. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
