Military camp on Salisbury Plain, c.1900s

A man in a greatcoat seems to be expressing satisfaction of having erected the tent in the background at a large military camp (may have been known as East Down Camp). Looking similar to George Dafnis, he appears in several of his informal photographs. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
