View of Limpley Stoke, c.1900s

© This image is not to be copied or published without permission

From the house in the foreground (bottom left) in Middle Stoke, the eye is drawn down the valley where the road, railway and river run away towards Dundas Aqueduct. Taken before the Camerton Limpley Stoke line was built. Scanned from the photographer's original negative. Most of these images were taken before he started producing postcards, and before he saved his images on glass plates.
