With the photographer captured in shadow! This carried the S&D over the canalised River Brue and was the original main line of the Central Somerset Railway, laid along the bank of the disused Highbridge to Glastonbury Canal. It was a Broad Gauge line in association with the Bristol and Exeter Railway. From a private collection of photographs from approximately the 1950s relating to the canals and railways in Bath and the surrounding area. Attributed to Ken Marchant of Radstock.
