Description

High drama in Padleigh Bottom! Following the accident in which this vehicle has ploughed into the front of the building (see also image 39800), there is a group ready to pose for a commemorative photograph. The individuals have been identified by one descendant as follows: Mr George Densley, Mr Jack Boucher and Mrs Davies (probably), the publican's wife. The two men on the right are unknown. Alternatively the following attributation is given: Man second left - James Ruddick, roadman, Miss Mason who worked at Kings Silk?, man with cycle - son of Rev. Martin of Englishcombe. Who knows which one is right?
