The Somersetshire Coal Canal stands in the foreground. A temporary bridge has been made from a felled tree. From a set of 11 unique photographs, recording the construction of the Camerton to Limpley Stoke Railway. This mostly followed the route of the abandoned Somersetshire Coal Canal.
