Inside a prefab, 1960s

The centrally heated aluminium kit homes were constructed after the war. Only meant to last ten years, they had been home to many but were deteriorating rapidly by the early 1960s. The kitchens were fitted out with a fridge, cooker, sink, electric boiler and cupboards.
