Description

Postmaster Tris Broadwith from Weston Village post office on Britain's first floating post office. Taken to mark the bicentennial of the year Parliament passed 24 acts giving permission for canals to be constructed. On board guests received a full English breakfast complete with Bucks Fizz. Photographed outside the George Inn on the Kennet and Avon Canal. Taken on 20th July 1993.
