The houses are to be renovated as prestige offices, the foreground will be covered with commercial buildings. Lord Snowdon visited Bath in March 1972, to capture the devastation caused by the 'sack of Bath'. This is one of 21 images published in Adam Fergusson's seminal book of the same name. Bath in Time has exclusively secured with the kind permission of Lord Snowdon, the contents of the entire shoot, many of which are in full colour.
