It has been suggested that this tunnel is to be found above Camden Crescent. Another theory arises in connection with a story in the 1930 Bath Newspaper: 'Work is well under way in connection with the 'bulging wall' in Holloway, Bath, which, having become unsafe, is being replaced... In the course of removing the earth from the banks, an old waterworks tunnel has been unearthed, of sufficient size to admit a man. The tunnel is, however, very short and is in disuse'. Could this be that tunnel, or is it the Roman Great Drain under York Street? Taken from the original glass plate negative and although mostly unidentified, included for their curiosity value.
