This Austrian Pine is believed to be the only tree that is still standing and can be seen towering over Eagle Park, the housing estate that was built on the site. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col. Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912. Taken on 30th October 1909.
