At least a dozen plantings with plaques can be seen distributed throughout the garden and can be partially read when enlarged. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col. Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House, Batheastonn, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
