Description

The slide is numbered 41 and 89213. Wearing brooch of Britannia, as well as the swastika, which was (and still is) a religious symbol before adoption by the Nazis. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col. Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House, Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
