The slight is faintly numbered 11?/23? Standing solemnly beside Picea Polita, planted by C.A.L. Marsh, 5th March 1911. Charlotte Marsh was known as CALM from her initials. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col. Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House, Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
