The slide is numbered 11/28 and 89212. CALM portrait, full face. Charlotte Marsh in 1909 climbed the roof of Bingley Hall, Birmingham and flung tiles down on police and Asquith's car, earning two months hard labour. Repeatedly imprisoned and forced fed 134 times. Strikingly beautiful with blue eyes and long corn-coloured hair - during the 1914 war was a personal chauffeur to Lloyd George. From a unique collection of glass plate negatives taken by Col. Linley Blathwayt of Eagle House, Batheaston, home of refuge for suffragettes between 1908 and 1912.
