Description

As discovered during the construction of the Great Western Railway. Brunel suspended work in the area to enable the site to be recorded. The pavement was moved to Keynsham, where it could be seen at the station for many years. It is now at Bristol Museum. Measured and drawn by This Jones, Bath. Day & Haghe Lithr to the Queen. From a restricted access giant volume of prints in excellent condition. Bookplate inside cover Ex Libris Frederici Shum F.S.A.
