Engraved by James Basire 1730-1802 apprenticed to Willaim Blake for 7 years from 1772. From Drawings made by Mr. John Carter 1748-1817, an early pioneer of scholarly studies of Gothic architecture. Published by the Society of Antiquaries of London, 23rd April 1798. From a restricted access giant volume of prints in excellent condition. Bookplate inside cover Ex Libris Frederici Shum F.S.A.
