Description

Nicknamed Mud Island, due to its vulnerability from flooding, the Dolemeads housed some of the poorest inhabitants in Bath. Note urchin with flowerpot to left, and resident in doorway. H. Foster, photographer, 5, Princes Buildings. See Image Ref. 11355.
