Written on reverse of drawing: By H.E. Goodridge aged 19 in 1816. The old Claverton Manor House. The original drawing by H.E. Goodridge, architect of Bath. Drawn in 1816. Goodridge being then 19 years of age. From measurements made in 1816 the three gables formerly existing were added to the drawing. From the Meeham Collection. Possibly written in the hand of Henry Venn Lansdown. Annotation bottom right of drawing: In this spot a ball was shot into ye wall when King Charles 1st was in the house.
