A fabulous view down one of Bath's lost portals to the city. You can see the route the road used to take under the railway viaduct and directly over the Old Bridge into Southgate. Shops seen here include John Mathlin bootmakers and James Benham, butchers. The Angel Tavern can be seen on the left.
