From a unique collection of 47 original sketches in pen and ink by three different members of the Barker family. Thomas Barker (Barker of Bath), Benjamin Barker and Thomas Jones Barker. Many of these are sketches of what were to become oil paintings. This collection was purchased at auction in 1870 for 30 guineas.
