In Bathwick parish a sheep generously given by Mr Hawkins, butcher, and weighing 88 pounds, was roasted whole and the concomitants being subscribed for by the Landlord of the Crown Inn and a few friends a good dinner was provided for 58 deserving poor of the neighbourhood. Newspaper Cutting
