Brook, Lord of London. Drawn, Etch & Pub by R. Dighton, 6 Char Cross, 1803. Robert Dighton (1752-1814) was a portrait painter as well as a caricaturist. He exhibited at the Free Society of Arts and at the Royal Academy. The forerunner of modern caricaturists in that he classified his subjects by occupation: the Bar, the Army, the Navy etc.
