The pamphlet describes the standard of land and animals and refers to its high quality of diary produce and woollen cloths. It also notes the rivers: Severn, Avon, Parrett, Frome, Ax, Tor and the principle hills: Mendip, Pouldon, Quantock and that the people are plain and honest hearted. It also says from Somersetshire eighteen members go to parliament; two from Bath, Bristol and Wells and one each from Taunton, Minehead, Bridgewater, Ilchester and Milbourne Port.
