The most iconic map of pre-Georgian Bath, Gilmore's map was bordered by remarkable images of Baths Lodging Houses. In the style of a modern day tourist map, this gives a revealing insight into Medieval Bath. All by the Art & Industry of Joseph Gilmore Teacher of Mathematicks in the City of Bristol. Extracted by Dr Guidot out of his Antiquities of Bath 1717. Sold by Henry Hammond Bookseller in Bath and Thomas Taylor, Map and print seller at the Golden Lion in Fleet Street, London.
