Starved by the Hun - Bath Mother who didn't know her own son in WWI, 1919

Private Stanley V. Wootten, captured by the Germans on January 11th 1917 was repatriated by the Red Cross after becoming seriously ill with pneumonia and influenza. His own mother didn't recognise him on his return. He was employed by Stothert and Pitt and worked in the drawing office.
