A derelict chapel on Locksbrook Road, 1946
3 1 c m
actual image size: 32cm x 23cm

Possibly damaged in the Bath Blitz, along with nearby houses, as seen in image 12496. Photograph by Cyril Howe in wartime. This chapel has the exact same front elevation as the Salem Chapel in Englishcombe, so was probably contemporary (1840s). It may have been the Lower Weston Gospel Mission Hall, to which there are a few scattered references in the local newspaper.
