Description

Despite destroying many fine churches, Bath's showpiece Royal Crescent and the Circus miraculously survived, relatively intact. It was a near miss! The destroyed Regina Hotel can be seen in the background, victim of a direct hit. This is one of the most powerful of all the Bath Blitz images.
