Description

Blighted by the proposed Buchanan road scheme in the 1960s, famously, the end buildings were deliberately set on fire by the Bath Corporation to test the fire worthiness of Bath's Georgian buildings. When the road was scrapped the buildings were restored. From a large collection of colour slides of Bath by Ian Ollis of the Admiralty Camera Club.
